I really like the new thermostat system that we got for our house last week! We had been talking about getting a new thermostat for quite a while, but life gets so crazy occasionally that we just never got around to it.
- We happened to be in the hardware store for some plumbing things that we needed for our lavatory, and we wandered down the heating and cooling products aisle.
We saw that there was a large rebate being provided on a new smart digital programmable thermostat system… Since there was such a nice deal being provided, we went ahead and purchase the thermostat even though we hadn’t actually planned on getting one that day. We went home and my husband fixed the plumbing issue that we were having first, but as soon as he got finished with that, I handed him the new smart thermostat and asked him to install it too! It was a big day of house improvements for him, that’s for sure, then once he got the new smart thermostat installed, we read through the manual and set all of the temperature settings the way we wanted them. Now, we program our thermostat at any time and from any place! As long as you’re connected through Wi-Fi to the app that controls the smart thermostat, you can turn your heating and cooling off or on from somewhere in the world. It also sends you notifications when it’s time to change your air filters or if you need an HVAC repair check. I just love our new thermostat system!
