I am a recruiting for a local HVAC trade school

I work for a local HVAC trade school, but not as a teacher. I am currently a staff member of the Admissions department at the HVAC trade school. When I first came as a student, I wanted to be an HVAC technician. I worked hard an achieved my certification to become an HVAC technician, and I began working for an HVAC company nearby. While I enjoyed working on furnaces and air conditioners, I eventually began to get tired of being an HVAC technician. We work on our own a lot, and I enjoyed being around people. I contacted the HVAC trade school to see if they knew of any potential careers for an HVAC technician, and they told me that I could join their staff. I would begin traveling around to high schools in our state to try to convince students to become HVAC technicians. Most of my job is spent working with students in public schools. I am particularly interested in students who are members of a shop class. Hands-on students who don’t enjoy the paperwork of regular schoolwork are always interested in the HVAC field. However, I always encourage the students to work hard in other subjects because the HVAC trade school wants hard-working students. I always explain to the students that the HVAC trade is always in demand because we will always have furnaces and air conditioners. They will even get paid to study in our trade school! Every year, I am always able to find students who come to our HVAC trade school that fall, and I am glad to have been a part of that decision.
