I recently just signed a contract to join the military.
- While I was talking to the recruiter about what I was going to do when I joined the military, he asked me what I wanted to do with my life after I finished serving in the military.
I told him that I planned on retiring from the military, but I wanted to work with machines in the military. He told me that there was an opening for an HVAC technician in the military and that I would be paid to go to the best trade school possible to learn HVAC. He even said that he could guarantee me a job interview in any state that I want with any HVAC company that I want after I retire. When I asked him what I would be doing while I was serving in the military, he told me that I would be in charge of installing and maintaining the multiple HVAC units in any area that I was located in. The physical requirements would be a lot easier for me, and I probably wouldn’t see a lot of battle time. I was scared of battle anyways, but I was joining the military for retirement and because they would pay for my HVAC trade school. I am going to start basic training in a few weeks, then I am supposed to begin training in an HVAC trade school. Once I become a certified HVAC technician, then I will be stationed wherever they need me and will immediately begin my job as a military HVAC technician. I have a guaranteed 20-year career before I retire and become an HVAC technician at home! This is going to be awesome!
