I keep hearing my friends talking about zoned heating and cooling and I really want to check it out.
I have central heating and cooling, which I have had for almost 20 years.
When I was a kid I had a window AC unit at my house, it was okay but I am glad that I will never have a window AC unit again. Growing up we also used the fireplace as our only source of heat, so I never got to experience a furnace or even something like an oil heater. I had a few friends that had a furnace but I never went to their house. Now it’s time for me to upgrade my central heating and cooling in my house and I am thinking about doing zoned heating and cooling. A friend of mine just got his entire HVAC system redone and he is very good friends with his HVAC technician. His technician told him that one of the hottest things in the HVAC world is what they call zoned heating and cooling. I have a three story house and the top two floors where the AC unit is located actually get cool, but there feels like not a sign of AC on the bottom floor. I was never educated about zoned heating and cooling so I knew nothing about it until my friend told me. Now I understand how important it is to have zoned heating and cooling, it really makes a huge difference in your house. I can’t wait until my zoned heating and cooling is installed, I think I might also save money on my HVAC bill.
