I think that my roommate thinks that I would be mad if I knew he was using all the HVAC, but I really wouldn’t be.
I understand that we all have to pay bills and that’s just how it is, but I really wish that I didn’t have to pay for HVAC. My HVAC bill is so high that I can’t even believe it. Sometimes I look at my HVAC bill and wonder if something is wrong with the meter. All I have in my apartment is a window AC unit and I feel like I barely ever turn it on. I can’t wait until there are things like solar powered HVAC systems, because then I will actually be able to afford it! My apartment does have a gas fireplace, but I haven’t been able to get the fireplace to work. I know that it might sound silly that I can’t get a fake fireplace to work, but that is the truth. I have also been told by a friend of mine that knows a lot about HVAC that I should get some insulation for my windows to try and keep the AC in. The other thing that might be happening is that my roommate is using more HVAC than I am aware of. I have asked my roommate on many occasions if he is using a lot of AC but he always says no. If you have ever gotten an HVAC bill that is high you probably know what I am talking about. It is also one of the hottest years in history, so that might be why the HVAC bill is so high.
