My husband Matthew and I both work for the same online marketing company daler.
Our jobs are quite diverse.
Matthew works in the finance department for the SEO firm. He is responsible for billing the HVAC companies for our services, including digital advertising. He also provides the SEO team with their paychecks. He makes sure to pay the independent SEO contractors on time. I am an independent contractor hired by the firm. I am the SEO content writer for all of the web sites. I write every bit of the HVAC information that fills the websites. At the start of the service, the HVAC business signs up for SEO and after providing their goals, a web builder makes a site. I then get a demand for a specific amount and style of content. I write the material and the website gets an SEO member to help it rank higher on google. The company uses proven tools such as SEO or SEM strategies. After all this is completed, Matthew handles the bills and payments for everyone. It works out great us, except sometimes on the weekends. Matthew works solely for the firm. He puts in hours from 9-5 and takes holidays off. I work based on the required list of projects. Very often, I need to write content for a bunch of HVAC companies in a very short time. If business is slow, Matthew and I can do anything at virtually anytime. We often travel. During the busy season, however, m husband drives me slightly insane. I have trouble getting my work done because he is bored and wants my attention. When our schedules are not the same, it’s a problem. At other times, however, we have a lot of freedom.
