I certainly am a fan of saving money.
When I went on a business trip recently, I got a call from my wife and she told me that the HVAC system was experiencing troubles. Since I was going to be home soon enough, I told her I would take care of it. In the meantime I just said to use the ceiling fans and the stationary fans to keep cool. It wasn’t incredibly overheated in the house, so I felt she would be fine. When I was on my flight home, I ended up talking to the person next to me. This guy had a lot to talk about and I ended up learning that he was an HVAC technician. He let me know that after I was telling him how I had to get the HVAC working at home when I got back. He was telling me about all kinds of energy saving tips and about HVAC system maintenance plans. I actually was learning a lot from this guy in a short amount of time. I felt kind of like an expert in energy saving tips and I was going to put all these tips to good use. I certainly am a fan of saving money. I also learned that by keeping up with the HVAC system maintenance regularly with an HVAC system maintenance plan, the energy bills will be substantially lower. I even learned that smart thermostats save you a great deal of money. I never knew anything about smart thermostats, we just have a regular programmable thermostat. When I learned from this guy that you can save roughly 15% on the energy bills just by using a smart thermostat, I said I was definitely going to get one.
