I have dealt with a lot of unusual oil heating systems in our short life.
I remember when our family plus I moved into our first house.
My parents were dirt poor plus could not afford proper heating component for awhile. The two of us got by with space oil heating systems for a long time. I remember eating cereal with the space oil furnace standing on the table. I had a space oil furnace in our dining room plus there was a oil furnace pointed at the powder room piping. After our parents got a little currency they upgraded to a boiler system. The boiler was gotten on a deal plus the modern home was set up for it anyway. There were many holes in the home office floor with a metal grate over the top. The boiler method was in the basement plus then the heat rose up through the grates. I used to lay on the main heating vent right before the school bus came. It was not soboilingthat you could not touch it, as sad as that sounds. Once I was in high school the boiler method was booted out. The metal grates were filled plus the people I was with and I had a complete home office floor. My parents then were able to Springtime for a gas fireplace. The fireplace is still in their home plus is the best oil furnace they have owned. It doesn’t always turn on plus makes horrible noises when heating. But, it is a vast improvement over what they had. Maybe by the time I have kids our parents will have a fine working oil furnace! Perhaps they will have a single that actually provides enjoyable heating.
