I didn’t think the AC was in bad shape, but I also didn’t think the HVAC tech did a thorough job of the inspection on the AC unit
I know that I can be quite stubborn and vindictive. I’m not proud of this fact, but it is who I am. I thought that when I became a father, some of that would go away, but it has only worsened over the years. I just don’t like it when I feel like I have been taken advantage of. When our son wanted a birthday party, my wife and I decided to throw him one to remember. We went all out with the food, the decorations and even the thank you gifts for all who attended. We spent a couple thousand dollars and wanted it to be absolutely perfect. The one thing we were worried about was the air conditioning. They had been talking about this heat wave arriving, for almost two weeks now, and it was here. We called the HVAC company three days ahead of the party and made an appointment to have our air conditioning inspected the day before the party. They technician showed up two days before and he was only there for about ten minutes when he told us the AC unit was in good shape. I didn’t think the AC was in bad shape, but I also didn’t think the HVAC tech did a thorough job of the inspection on the AC unit. I made a silent vow that if anything happened to my air conditioner during the party, that I would have his job. We were less than an hour into the party when the air conditioning unit quit running. I called the HVAC company fifteen minutes later.
